YJS, IFES discuss training cooperation

SANA'A, Oct. 12 (Saba) - Yemen Journalists Syndicate (YJS) and the International Foundation for Electoral System (IFES) held on Monday talks on means of enhancing training cooperation between the two sides.

YJS General-Secretary Marwan Dammaj and the IFES director of Middle East and North Africa Zeinab Abdelkarim agreed on preparing partnership programs to meet the journalists' needs.

The talks attended by head of Training and Qualify Committee Nabil al- Osaydi were ended up assigning the committee to prepare the programs according to the IFES's interests and journalists requests.

Dammaj voiced the syndicate's readiness to create partnership with IFES in any programs to develop the media-related laws.

For her part, Zeinab voiced the foundation care of the journalists' training and its adherence to cooperate with the syndicate in the journalist training programs.
