Yemen to partake in Arab Publishers Conference in Riyadh

SANA'A, Oct. 06 (Saba) - Yemen will participate in the 1st Arab Publishers Conference to be kicked off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next Wednesday.

Chairman of General Authority for Books Faris al-Saqaf said that the authority's experience, publishing status in Yemen and the requirements to advance such industry would be reviewed during the two-day conference.

Al-Saqaf pointed out the conference would focus on issues of publishing in the Arab world, intellectual property issues, protection of Author's right to come out with recommendations reinforcing aspects of cooperation between the Arab publishing houses as well as activating the mechanisms of Arab joint action.
