6 die when truck veers off in western Yemen

TAIZ, July 04 (Saba) - At least six people, including four women, were killed and 14 others were injured, some seriously, when a truck with 200 wheat bags onboard veered off at a crowded market in Taiz, traffic police said on Saturday.

The accident took place Saturday morning at the Najd Qusaim market on the road leading to al-Turba district west of Taiz.

Technical fault has been blamed. 

Other losses have been estimated at millions of rials after the truck destroyed cars, shops and othe properties of the people.
