Yemen, Russia discuss academic cooperation

SANA'A, July 04 (Saba)- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Saleh BaSorah discussed on Saturday with the first consular- deputy head of Russian mission Olga Levin aspects of the academic cooperation between Yemen and Russia.

They discussed possibilities of exchanging professors in scientific field and a suggestion of resolving problems facing Yemeni students in Russian universities as well as mechanism of receiving Russian students in Yemeni universities.

BaSorah valued facilities presented for Yemeni students in Russian universities, voicing need of Yemen to get further scholarship in scientific fields.

He pointed out to the importance of the Russian participation in the academic symposium on quality of education that would be organized by the ministry next October.

The Russian diplomat affirmed concern of Russian to develop academic cooperation with Yemen.
