US hails Yemen's role in combating terrorism

SANA'A, July 04 (Saba) - American ambassador to Sana'a Stephen Seche has praised Yemen's distinctive role in the field of fighting against terrorism, violence and extremism.

Seche said to the state-run 26 September Yemen becomes an active partner in the region with the United State of America in combating terrorism and disseminating peace values.

The American diplomat said, in the sideline of his visit to Dar Al-Salam Organization for combating revenge and violence in Sana'a, that the Yemeni-American relations witness steadily development, particularly in the areas of security, development and economic cooperation, affirming his country's keenness on promoting such relations with Yemen.

He was briefed from the chairman of the organization Abdul Rahman al-Marwani on detailed explanation of the organizations' field visits and activities that aim to spread culture of peace among Yemen society as well as to fight against violence and revenge.
