SANA'A, July 02 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh headed on Thursday a meeting for the commanders of the military units.

In the meeting, the commanders briefed president Saleh on level of implementation for the training programs for this year and fighting readiness for the security and armed forces.

Plans of developing capacities of the forces were discussed.

President Saleh highlighted role of the military and security forces in defending on the nation and its unity, pointing out to the developments taken place in the armed and security corporations.

He affirmed concern of the leadership to training of the forces, saying that no real development without strong armed and security forces to maintain security of the society.

President Saleh also indicated to importance of strengthening principle of loyalty for Allah, nation, revolution and unification.

He urged the commanders to be good sample for soldiers in their behavior and commitment in doing the national duties, wishing all success to serve the nation.
