KSA to equip 69 technical institutes in Yemen

RIYADH, July 02 (Saba)-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia voiced readiness to equip 69 technical institutes in Yemen, said Yemen's ambassador to Riyadh Ali Muhsen al-Ahwal.

During his meeting with Yemeni journalists and directors who come here for training in Emir Ahmad bin Salman Institute for Applied Media, al-Ahwal said these institutes aim at training Yemeni laborers to include holders of secondary certificates to compete in GCC countries.

"This move is in line with serous GCC leaders' intentions to include Yemeni professional laborers in GCC markets after recent consultative summit held in Riyadh approve Custodian of the two Holly Mosques' suggestion to open their markets before Yemeni laborers," added ambassador al-Ahwal.

He highlighted Saudi attention to Yemen by providing higher scholarships to Yemeni students saying there are more than 4000 students are studying in Saudi universities and that the kingdom grants Yemen 250 scholarships annually.

He indicated the continuity of training courses to Yemeni media men reflect developed relations between the two countries and enable trainers on getting more information on the progress being achieved in Yemen.

For his part, the head of journalist delegation Mohammad Assalihi noted continuous media training course in the kingdom will create more of experience change and ideas.

While the head of directors' delegation Fuad al-Misbahi said organizing such courses to media men will enable them to gain new skills in field of their specializations and boost bridge of communication between Yemeni and Saudi media.
