Awareness course on reproductive health family planning launched in Marib

MARIB, June 14 (Saba)- Public Health and Population Office in collaboration with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) organized on Sunday an awareness course on reproductive health and family planning with 20 mosque preachers as participants.

The awareness course is aiming to provide knowledge and information about safe motherhood, child care and planning family health, in addition to addressing the legality discussion in the field of family planning and reproductive health as well as the definition of sexually transmitted diseases and how to reduce them.

Director of Public Health Office Abdul-Rabuh Moftaah affirmed the importance of the role of preachers to raise community awareness withregards to family planning and reproductive health.
