LEIPZIG, June 06 (Saba) - Aden University and the Germany University of Leipzig signed on Saturday a cultural and scientific agreement between the two universities for the five coming years.
The agreement includes promoting aspects of scientific and cultural relations between the two countries, evaluating the curriculum, supporting language and German studies, academic exchanges and the exchange of scientific publications between the two universities.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of Aden University Abdul Aziz Bin Habtor and Dean of the Institute of Oriental Studies, University of Leipzig, Eberhard Karls.
Aden University delegation held talks with Rector of University of Leipzig Franz Huser on ways of reinforcing academic cooperation between the two countries and was briefed on the High School for Telecommunications Engineering of Leipzig City and agreed with the German school officials to hold cooperation between the two universities.
It is worth to mention that the University of Leipzig is the second-oldest University in Germany, founded in 1409.
