Family planning methods course launched in Hadramout

MUKALLA, May 26 (Saba)- Around 22 health cadres received on Tuesday a training course on family planning methods organized by the Health Office funded by GTZ Health Program in six districts of Hadramout governorate.

The course is aiming to introduce the basic information on the use of family planning methods in Hadramout valley and the desert, and the proper means of family planning and disseminating the importance of spacing between births.

In a statement to Saba, Director of Health Office Ahmed Hassan said the course aims to provide participants with medical doctors, assistant doctors and midwives on information and knowledge needed to provide advice on the use of family planning methods.
