Presidential orders to establish airport in Abdul Kori island

SANA'A, April 23 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has ordered the government to establish a dock and airport in Abdul Kori island in Abdul Kori island of Socotra Archipelago, well-informed sources said on Thursday.

The state-run 26 September reported that the Ministries of Transport and Defense are conducting currently the requisite designs and studies to establish the two vital projects.

The two projects will facilitate the development access and the movement of citizens and tourists to the island which comes second after Socotra Island in term of size in the Socotra archipelago.
