President Saleh receives letter from Hezbollah Secretary-General

SANA'A, April 21 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Tuesday a letter from Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.

The letter handed over by Dean of Arab prisoners in Israeli jails Samir Qintar dealt with a number of issues and current developments in the region as well as topics of Arab nation's concern.

Nasrallah, in his letter, praised the Yemeni attitudes in supporting Lebanese resistance against the Israeli occupation, particularly its attitude during the Israeli aggression against Lebanon in 2006.

He also expressed Hezbollah's keenness on supporting Yemen, its security and stability.

For his part, President Saleh reiterated the country's attitudes toward supporting the resistance whether in Palestine or in Lebanon against the Israeli occupation.
