GOAM team inspects historical site in al-Dali

Al-DALI, April 12 (Saba)- A team of General Organization for Antiquities and Museums (GOAM) office in al-Dali governorate inspected on Sunday a recent discovered archeological site in Shaka al-Kharba region of the governorate.

The director of the office Mohammed Manqash told Saba that the archeological objects found the region dated back to Hamrit age, saying that the region is considered one of the historical sites in the governorate.

Different archeological teams from United Kingdom, Russian, Germany and Italy have visited the region before, he added.

He said that the team would start works of digging in the discovered site, calling on leadership of the governorate and local council to protect the side.
