VP: Elections will be held on fixed time scheduled on April 27

SANA'A, Feb. 02 (Saba)- The fourth coming parliamentary elections will be held in its time fixed by constitution on April 27, said Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi.

In his meeting with Director of International Foundation for Electoral Systems for Middle East and North Africa Programs Maji Salem, Hadi affirmed that holding elections in this time is a commitment made to people and in line with the president electoral program.

He indicated that Yemen, since the reunification in May 22 1990, has approved the democracy as clear approach and an alternative to differences in the way for social, cultural and economic development.

For her part, Maji Salem expressed appreciation to the Vice President saying:" the foundation is supporting democratic approach in Yemen in clear way in line with known objectives and values of democratic systems."

She affirmed that the foundation is with holding elections in their due times.
