Yemen, G.R.M Company discuss justice development issues

SANA'A, Jan. 24 (Saba) - Yemen and G.R.M Company discussed here on Saturday procedures for implementing the integrated project to develop justice sector in Yemen, introduced by the UK Development Ministry.

Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari affirmed, during his meeting with the Director of G. R. M company Philip Ellison, that the project should support all the judiciary's sector in the field of information, raising the efficiency of courts and building the cadre capacity in accordance with the priorities suggested by the UK ministry to support the process of the Judicial reforms in Yemen.

He asserted that the ministry leadership's would provide all the facilities to succeed the project.

For his part, Ellison briefed the Minister on steps that have been taken to begin the implementation of the project.


It is worth to mention that Yemen signed on November 2008 with the British Development Ministry the financing agreement of the project amounting to £ 7 million for five years.
