Yemen, Japan review anti-piracy efforts

SANA'A, Jan. 07 (Saba) - Yemen and Japan reviewed here on Wednesday exerted efforts by Yemen in coordination with the brotherly and friendly countries for fighting piracy and hijacking ships in the international waters of the Red Sea and Arab sea.

The Undersecretary of Foreign Minister for Arab, African and Asian Affairs Ali al-Ayashi discussed here on with the Japanese ambassador to Sana'a Maskazu Toshikage results of Cairo Conference of the Arab countries overlooking on the Red Sea as well as Nairobi meeting in this regard.

The meeting also dealt with bilateral cooperation areas between the two friendly countries and ways of strengthening them.
