FM calls on UK to support Arab efforts to end Israeli aggression

SANA'A, Jan. 04 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi called on Sunday Britain to support efforts of Arab States to obtain a security decision to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

During his meeting with the British ambassador to Yemen Tim Torlot, al-Qirbi and the UK diplomat discussed the tragic situation in Gaza and the cruel conditions facing Palestinian people there.

Moreover, al-Qirbi and Torlot talked about piracy phenomenon in the region and means of tackling it.

The meeting also dealt with cooperation relations and several issues of common interests.
