Democracy School organizes workshop on youth issues

ADEN, Dec. 21(Saba) – The non-government organization of Democracy school has organized in Aden city a workshop on ways of developing the leadership skills of youth.

The six-day workshop aims at improving the capacities and experiences of youth leaders and developing their society partnership and voluntary work skills.

In collaboration with the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), 30 participants are attending the workshop. The participants are from the Children's Parliament and a number of youth activators representing different governorates.

Chairman of the Democracy School Jamal al-Shami said to Saba that the workshop was preparing in the framework of the organization's project and efforts to train and enable youth to be a part of the social work activates.

He pointed out that the projects would target about 90 participants, including youths would be elected as leaders of works groups relating to implementing the youth activities in the provinces.
