IFES hails SCER preparations for coming parliamentary election

SANA'A, Dec. 20 (Saba) - The International Foundation for Election System (IFES) praised on Saturday processes of inputting voters' data and clearing the photo electoral roll carried out by the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER).

Head of the Technical Affairs and Planning Sector at the SCER Mohammed al- Sayani reviewed here on Saturday with the IFES Executive Director in Sana'a Peter Williams results of revise and amendment stage of the voters' lists.

They also discussed processes of registering, deleting and checking the electoral registry and the automatic input of the voters' data and photos as a part of the preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections on April 27th.

Williams was briefed on the activities of the technical committees, particularly in the field of automatic input of the voters' data and deletion of the deceased and repeated data.
