Amsterdam University students visit SCER headquarters

SANA'A, Dec. 16 (Saba) - Member of Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum Mohammed al-Sayani together with Abdo al-Junaid met on Tuesday with a students delegation from the Political Science Department of Amsterdam University of Netherlands and the Middle East Studies Collage in Sana'a.

Al-Siyani and al-Junaid presented detailed explanations about SCER as neutral, independent constitutional authority, constitutional, legal procedural steps and activities being implemented by the SCER to carry out its tasks according to constitutional and legal merits for general election activities.

They also reviewed electoral division of all governorates of the Republic and a number of parliamentary electoral constituencies and electoral centers and local districts in addition to the previous three parliamentary and two presidential electoral rounds witnessed in Yemen, and women's participation as candidates and voters.
