Saleh, Zenawi assert significance of int'l move to end piracy
[28/November/2008]

SANA'A, Nov. 28 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi emphasized here on Friday the significance of an international move to put an end for the piracy acts in the international waters of Aden Gulf and Arab Sea.

Saleh and Zenawi exchanged views on developments in the African Horn, particularly the situation in Somalia and the possible means to bring peace, security and stability into Somalia.

The meeting also discussed the current arrangements to hold the meeting of Sana'a Coalition, scheduled to be convened in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, late next September, in addition to several issues of common interests

Moreover, Saleh and Zenawi dealt with the cooperation relations between the two countries, accenting the joint keenness on advancing them forward.

After concluding the meeting, the farewell ceremonies have been conducted in the republican Palace to Yemen's guest the Ethiopian Premier Meles Zenawi, who departed Sana'a after a two-day state visit to Yemen.
