Yemen, IDB discuss financing agricultural projects in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 24 (Saba) - Abyan Governor Ahmed al-Maisari discussed here on Monday with a delegation from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) financing agricultural projects in the governorate.

Al-Maisari and the head of the IDB delegation Othman al-Feel reviewed the agricultural projects the IDB will finance in the governorate in 2009.

He valued the IDB financings to implement the development projects in the agricultural field.

Al-Feel noted that the visit aims to boost cooperation in economic field and evaluate the IDB-funded projects in the governorate.

It is worth mentioning that the Islamic Development Bank has granted about $ 26 million to support agricultural projects in Abyan governorate.
