Yemen to partake in Arab Justice Ministers meetings in Beirut

SANA'A, Nov. 24 (Saba) - Yemen is to take part in the meetings of the 24th round of Arab Justice Ministers in the Lebanese Capital, Beirut on 27 – 28 November.

Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari, who headed for Beirut on Monday, told Saba that the round would be preceded by the 40th meeting of the executive committee for Arab Justice Ministers to be initiated on Tuesday for two days.

The 24th round of Arab Justice Ministers will address issues of combating terrorism, money laundry, organized crime, the minister said upon his departure.

He added that one of the issues to be discussed during the meetings is the standardization of Arab legislations and transition them from stage of guidance to stage of activation as a source of national legislations

The Arab ministers will review the drafts of Arab model law on electronic commerce and a law to regulate human organs farming and prevent and combat organ trafficking, in addition to discussing preparations for the conference to review the convention of establishing the International Criminal Court.

The Minister al-Aghbari indicated that he is to participate in the regional conference on improving the justice systems in Arab states organized by the United Nations Development Program in Beirut on 29 – 30 November.
