Muslim states delegations leave Sana'a
[23/November/2008]

SANA'A, Nov. 23 (Saba) -A number of Muslim states delegations left Sana'a on Sunday following the attendance of the opening ceremony of Al-Saleh Mosque and the College of Islamic Sciences in Sana'a.

The Djibouti Minister of Islamic Affairs Hamed Sultan and the delegation of Islamic associations in India headed by Sheikh Abu Bakr Ahmed departed here after their participation in the opening ceremony held last Friday.

In a statement to Saba, the Djibouti minister congratulated President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the opening of the mosque, making clear that he had delivered a letter to President Saleh from his Djibouti counterpart Ismail Omar Guelleh dealing with bilateral relations between the two countries and means of boosting them.

For his part, the head of the Indian delegation said to Saba that the al-Saleh Mosque is a great architectural feature.
