Saleh receives Iranian delegation

SANA'A, Nov. 21 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Friday the Iranian delegation headed by chairman of the Awqaf Organization Haidar Maslahi.

During the meeting, the delegation presented to Saleh a letter from the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulating him on the opening of Al-Saleh Mosque.

The letter also affirmed concern of Iran to expand horizons of the joint cooperation between the two countries in order to benefit the peoples of Yemen and Iran.

Saleh asked the delegation to convey his regards to President Ahmadinejad and wishes of progress and development for the Iranian people. He affirmed keenness of Yemen to reinforce the fraternal relations with Iran.
