President receives letter from Sultan of Oman

SANA'A, Nov. 21 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Friday Omani Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Abdullah al-Salem who attended the opening of Al-Saleh Mosque.

Al-Salem handed over a letter to President Saleh from the Sultan of Oman Qaboos Bin Said Al-Said congratulating him on the inauguration of the mosque and Al-Saleh College for Qur'an and Islamic Sciences.

The letter also dealt with the fraternal relations between the two countries, affirming the depth of the Yemeni-Omani relations and concern to develop these ties in different areas for the interest of the two countries peoples.

Saleh asked the minister to convey his greetings to Sultan Qaboos and wishes of further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.
