Alsoswa confirms USDP support for Yemen to deal with impacts of flood

SAYOWN, Nov. 20 (Saba)- The UN Assistant Secretary General and Regional Director of the United Nations Development Programme UNDP Amat Al Alim Alsoswa affirmed on Thursday support of the international organization for Yemen to face impacts of flood disaster which hit Hadramout and al-Mahara governorates. 

During her meeting with the deputy governor of Hadramout Ahmed al-Janid, Alsoswa said that the damages of the disaster are big, adding that the rebuilding efforts need for hard work as the disaster damaged the infrastructure and basic services in addition to houses of the citizens. 

For his part, al-Janid appreciated efforts of the UN organizations to help affected regions in the governorate of Hadramout.
