TAIZ, Nov. 20 (Saba)- Information and Human Rights Qualification Center organized on Thursday a workshop on obstacles facing woman's participation in elections attended by 70 participants from Civil Society Organizations and academics from Taiz and Aden universities.

In the workshop, duty governor of Taiz Abdul-Qder Hatem affirmed importance of enabling woman for practicing all her rights, namely the right of participation in the elections, noting that political leadership supports woman.

For his part, executive director of the center Abdul-Qawi Salem indicated that the workshop comes in the framework of the center's keenness on enabling woman in participating in the democratic process via studying factors hampering her participation.
