Egyptian Foreign Minister Aide leaves Sana'a

SANA'A, Nov. 04 (Saba) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Aide Abdul Rahman Salah al-Deen returned home on Tuesday after a few-day visit to the country.

During the visit, the Egyptian official handed over a letter to the Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi from his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit on means of developing cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Upon his departure, Salah al-Deen said that he had discussed with officials of government ways of implementing decisions of the seventh round of the Joint Yemeni-Egyptian Supreme Committee to increase the trade and investment exchange between both countries.

The discussion also addressed the latest situation in Palestine, Iraq and the Horn of Africa and means of combating piracy phenomenon in the Gulf of Aden, Red Sea and off the Somali coast.
