Yemen will take part in Sharjah book fair

SANA'A, Oct. 19 (Saba)- Yemen represented by Culture Ministry will take part in the 27th International Book Fair which will be organized in Sharjah from 29 October up to 7 November 2008.

In a statement to Saba, Deputy of Culture Ministry for transcripts sector and book house Sam al-Ahmar said that the ministry selected more than 400 titles from the most prominent books and Yemeni authors.

The titles were selected in accordance with the nature of international fair in order to show the individuality of the Yemeni cultural and intellectual life, he added.
