Yemen, Netherlands review projects implementation level in Dhamar

DHAMAR, Oct.18 (Saba) - Dhamar governor Yahya al-Omari discussed here on Saturday with the chairwomen of Dutch Cooperation Program Ellen Van on the possibility of the Dutch contribution to the implementation of a number of projects in various areas.

The governor briefed official of the Dutch program on the level of projects implementation funded by the Dutch government in the domain of water, health and education, praising the Dutch support in these areas.

During the meeting, they reviewed the current arrangement for the visit of the Dutch Development Cooperation Minister Bert Koenders to Dhamar province in the framework of his visit to Yemen on the occasion of the end of reaching 30 years of Yemeni- Dutch development cooperation.

For her part, Dutch official expressed her happiness to visit the province of Dhamar and admiration for the physical development and service expansion in the province.

She affirmed her country's readiness to support the development sectors to realize the millennium goals.

She pointed out that the visit of Dutch Minister comes to identify the development needs faced Yemen to provide the Dutch support during the coming period.
