WHO regional committee's 55th round concluded activities

CAIRO, Oct. 14 (Saba)- Chaired by Yemeni Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a, the World Health Organization's Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean concluded its 55th round's activities.

In the end of the four-day long round, Rase'a delivered a speech in which he praised cooperation and understanding among regional countries participating in the round during the round's activities, noting importance of making use of expertise of each country.

He thanked coordinators of the round heading by the WHO's regional director Husein al-Jazaeri and his aids as well as WHO's Director General Margaret Chan for her great reaction in the round.

The 55th round's activities have come with a number of recommendations and decisions for improving health care in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
