SANA'A, Oct. 13 (Saba)- The Supreme Commission for Election and Referendum (SCER) invited Monday the European Commission and the European Union to take part in observing procedures of the parliamentary elections which will take place in April 2009.

Head of Foreign Relations at the SCER Ja'afar ba-Saleh and Charge' d'Affaires of the European Commission Delegation to Yemen Michele Cervone d'Urso discussed mutual cooperation aspects concerning elections.

They reviewed what has been achieved by the SCER in the preparation to revise lists of voters in preparations for the coming elections.
