SANA'A, Oct. 11 (Saba)- The Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergi Mironov is to arrive in Yemen next Wednesday in two-day official visit to Yemen.

His visit comes in response to an invitation exerted by Chairman of Shour Council.

It is scheduled that the senior Russian official would hold official talks with the Yemeni officials to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

A protocol of the cooperation between the two councils is expected to be signed during the visit in accordance with the friendship and cooperation announcement between Yemen and Russia.

The announcement was signed between president Ali Abdullah Saleh and the former Russian president in 2002.
