Yemeni coasts receive 785 Somali refugees in three days

SANA'A, Oct. 06 (Saba) - Yemeni coasts in provinces of Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan and Taiz have received nearly 785 Somali refugees in three days last week, according to local sources.

The sources said that Yemeni coasts receive between 200 – 300 Somali refugees daily during from the beginning of last September, the GPC-run almotamar.net has reported.

About 203 Somali refugees including 60 women and 6 children arrived in Shabwa province last Sunday, while Lahj province has received 267 Somalis (72 women and 2 children) sent to refugee camp in the province.

In Taiz province, local sources told the website that 209 Somali refugees arrived at Thubab area of Taiz province last Sunday, adding that the refugees would be sent to Kharaz camp in Lahj province.
