Indonesia to set up furniture producing project in Aden
[06 October 2008]

ADEN, Oct 06 (Saba) – Indonesian ambassador to Yemen Noor al-Awliya'a said at a meeting with the deputy chairman of the Aden Free Trade Zone Abdul Jaleel al-Shuaibi that Indonesia plans to set up a project to produce top-notch furniture in Aden.

The ambassador said Indonesia will supply raw materials for producing furniture that would be manufactured at the Aden Free Trade Zone.

The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Aden and Batam Free Trade Zones and aimed at finding ways to exchange experiences and training staffs as well as how to learn from Indonesian industrial experiences.

Al-Shuaibi welcomed Indonesian investments in Aden, saying the province leadership will work to ease difficulties before them and supply suitable investment climate for them.

He praised the ambassador's interest in the Aden Free Trade Zone and his call on Indonesian companies to invest at it.
