Chinese businessmen have increasing interest to invest in AFZ

ADEN, Oct. 04 (Saba)- Chinese Embassy First Secretary in Sana'a has said that Chinese businessmen and investors have increasing interest to invest in Yemen in various sectors.

During her meeting on Saturday with deputy chairman of Aden Free Zones General Authority (AFZGA) and chairman of Aden Free Zone (AFZ) Abdul-Jalil al-Shuaibi, she told him about the desire of a number of Chinese companies and investors to make advantage of the available investment opportunities in Aden Free Zone to set up investment projects,especially in industrial sector.

At the same time, she has confirmed Chinese side interest to open wide horizons for boosting cooperation between Yemen and China in all fields, particularly in the economic and investment fields.

She showed readiness of Chinese side to train and qualify a number of Yemeni cadres and present Chinese experiences for them,especially concerning free zones administration.

For his part, al-Shuaibi welcomed Chinese investments in Aden Free Zone, confirming that they would get all support, encourage and care to guarantee their success.

He also reviewed the promising investment opportunities and significant facilities and guarantees which would be presented to investors in Aden Free Zone.
