President Saleh holds talks with Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal

CAIRO, Oct. 03 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Thursday in Cairo Saudi businessman Prince al Waleed Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz al Saud.

During the meeting, they held talks over the ongoing works to build new houses in Dhafir village in Bani Matar district in Sana'a governorate at SR23 million presented by Prince al Waleed as a gift.

The meeting dealt with opportunities and advantages of available investment in Yemen, facilities and guarantees presented to investors.

Prince al Waleed has expressed his admiration over performance of accomplished works of residential units in Dhafir village which is to be accomplished soon.

He made clear that he would visit Sana'a upon their accomplishment to participate in their inauguration.

Prince al Waleed showed his interest on investment climate in Yemen and his desire to make studies on possibility of making use of basic factors and available opportunities in the regions.

President Saleh renewed his thanks and appreciation for Prince al Waleed on his initiative of financing the building of residential units to dwell victims of rockslide catastrophe in Dhafir village, indicating that it expresses the noble humanitarian spirit of Prince Waleed and the Saudi Arabian Kingdom.

He welcomed al Waleed investments in Yemen, confirming that it would get full support, encourage and care, and all facilities and guarantees will be offered according to valid laws to achieve its aspired success.
