Industry ministry organizes symposium on food crisis

SANA'A, Sep. 07 (Saba)- Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize a symposium on 'Food Crisis and Common Responsibility towards It' on Monday September 08, 2008 in cooperation with Future Movement (Tayar Al-Mustaqbal).

26sep.net reported that the symposium will be participated by a number of representatives from concerned official bodies, political parties and organizations, civil society organizations, private sector and international organizations in Yemen.

The symposium aims at finding a framework for a national comprehensive strategy that includes the government, political parties, civil society organizations and the private sector in order to create a joint vision to face this crisis.

A number of work papers will be discussed during the symposium highlighting the problem of food in the country.
