SANA'A, Sep.07 (Saba)- Minister of Interior Mutahar Rashad al-Masri held talks on Sunday with commander of the Joint Forces in the Africa Horn Brigadier General Philip Green on the aspects of security cooperation between Yemen and Joint Forces for strengthening security, peace and protection of marine vessels from piracy.

The minister expressed readiness of Yemen represented by the Ministry of Interior forces and coast guards to enhance maritime security and stability in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

He praised the current cooperation between Yemeni coast guards and Joint Forces in the Horn of Africa to realize security and protection of vessels from piracy.

For his part, commander of the Joint Forces praised the latest development of Yemeni maritime forces and coast guards, expressing readiness of Joint Forces to provide all assistance to Yemeni coast guards, particularly in the area of training and rehabilitation.
