Yemen, USAID discuss educational programs

SANA'A, Sep 06 (Saba) – Minister of Education Abdul Salam al-Jawfi discussed on Saturday with the USAID delegation currently visiting the country educational programs and activities financed by the USAID and means to improve them.

Al-Jawfi briefed the delegation led by the US Agency for International Cooperation acting deputy administrator James Kunder on Yemen curricula, programs to build up professional capabilities of teachers as well as infrastructure of schools across the republic.

The meeting stressed the necessity of continuing cooperation to build up the Yemeni teachers capabilities and constructing schools in various governorates.
