Agriculture minister meets USAID delegation

SANA'A, Sep 06 (Saba) – Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Mansour al-Howshabi met on Saturday with a delegation from the US Agency for International Development USAID currently visiting the country.

The delegation is led by the USAID acting deputy administrator James Kunder.

The meeting discussed future projects that would be given priority to be supported by the USAID and those linked to the areas of waters, private sector, marketing and guidance and researches.

Al-Howshabi appreciated the USAID efforts to improve the agriculture sector in Yemen and enhance its role to achieve the food security.
