GCC's ministerial council approves Yemen's development needs

JEDDAH, Sep. 03 (Saba)- Gulf Council of Foreign Ministers approved in its meeting held here on Wednesday Yemen's development needs that will be included in the four year plan ( 2011-2015)- for insuring Yemen's qualification to be included in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Speaking to Saba in the press conference held after the meeting, GCC Secretary General Abdurrahman al-Attiyah clarified that the ministerial council approved record of the Seventh Meeting of the Yemeni-Gulf Joint Committee that included development needs for the fiver year plan 2011-2015.

The council agreed on including Yemeni Central Organization for Control and Audit with GCC metrological organizations.

He affirmed that executive measures for Yemen's joining to these organizations during the forthcoming period. The council has reviewed a report of GCC's General Secretariat over ongoing cooperation between the GCC and Yemen.
