SANA'A, Sep. 02 (Saba) - Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed here on Tuesday a Memo of Understanding to improve technical and vocational education.

The Memo includes developing the system of technical education and vocational training in Yemen on several stages. The first stage will be commenced in the capital for four years, during which the JICA will establish, prepare and outfit a department for Car Maintenance at the Dhahban Technical Institute.

Moreover, the memo contains creating a new training system meets with labor market's needs in addition to establishing a private-public partnership network in the field of car maintenance in cooperation with the ministry.
