Minute of distributing UAE 500,000 tons of wheat gift signed

ABU DHABI, Aug. 29 (Saba)- A minute of distributing 500,000 tons of wheat, a gift from the UAE president to Yemen, was signed on Thursday evening.

The signature was after talks between a Yemeni technical team with officials in the United Arab Emirates over measures of the gift's distribution.

The minute was signed by the head of the Yemeni team, advisor of the trade minister Abdul-Rahman al-Madwahi and director of the public accounting in the financial circle in Abu Dhabi Salah al-Waswasi.
Al-Madwahi expressed appreciation of Yemen for this gift exerted by the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saying that Yemen concerns to realize goals of this gift to support of the food security in Yemen.

Last may, the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan gave orders to buy 500,000 tons of wheat and gift it to the Yemeni people as contrition to help Yemen in face increase of wheat price internationally.
