SANA'A, Aug. 29 (Saba)- The United Nations Children's Fund – UNICEF in Sana'a said that the program " Schools are Friends of Child" realized progress to reduce rate of escaping children from schools in the basic education in five governorates during the two years ago.

In his statement to al-Thawra.net, media officer in the UNICEF office in Sana'a Nasim Abdul-Rahman said program targeted 110 schools in five governorates; Taiz, Ibb, al-Dali, Lahj and Hudeidah governorates in addition to Socatra island .

He added that the UNICEF in coordination with the education ministry is working to develop this program to cover more schools.
