International study on investment in Yemen to be announced Saturday

SANA'A, Aug. 28 (Saba)- Deputy premier for economic affairs and minister of planning and international cooperation Abdul-Kareem al-Arhabi is to open next Saturday a meeting for announcing international study on the reality of the investment in Yemen, 26September weekly reported on Thursday.

The weekly quoted sources as saying that the study was conducted by consultative office of the International Finance Corporation- a member of the World Bank Group.

The sources said that the objectives of the study is to shed light on the reality of the investment and challenges in order to come out with strategy to better investment climate in the country and attract further investments.

The sources also pointed out to the reforms adopted by the government during the two years ago in the investment sector, saying that the coming period would witness further progress in improving the investment environment in the country.
