Manuscript preservation laboratory to be inaugurated in October

SANA'A, Aug 28 (Saba) - The president of the "Juma Al-Majid" Cultural Center of the United Arab Emirates. Juma Al-Majid is set arrive in Yemen in October to inaugurate a laboratory for maintaining and documenting the Yemeni manuscripts.

The laboratory was provided by the center through a cultural agreement signed by the Culture Ministry and the center within the framework of the center cultural support for the country.

The laboratory was installed at the Manuscripts House in Sana'a and cost $ 120 thousand.

In the near future, experts from the center will train Yemeni officials on how they preserve and scientifically document manuscripts.
