Yemen, IFAD discuss improving good production

SANA'A, Aug. 24 (Saba) - Yemen and the International Fund for
Agricultural Development (IFAD) discussed here on Sunday possibilities of helping the country in setting up an urgent plan to improve good production.

Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Mansur al-Hawshabi held talks here with head of the IFAD delegation Director of the Regional Program for Near East and North Africa Nadim Khoari on mechanisms of advancing performance of the IFAD-funded programs in the country.

They also reviewed priorities of supporting infrastructure projects in the light of the $ 20 million offered to the country for the coming three years.

The meeting accentuated the significance of improving the rain-fed agriculture project by the government to be funded by IFAD.
