Yemeni-German education cooperation in Marib discussed

MARIB, Aug. 19 (Saba) - Governor of Marib Naji Ali al-Zaidi reviewed here on Tuesday with director of the Yemeni-German Program Herbert Bergihan arrangements to move to the second stage of the program's support to improve the basic education quality to be commenced next October.

The meeting also discussed the German assistance to raise the quality of the education outcomes in the governorate.

Al-Zaidi valued the program's efforts to support the education sector and build the educational capacities to the governorate's inhabitants.

The German official voiced the program's readiness to continue its support to this sector in the governorate.

The program is carrying out currently some training courses for about 50 participants and 87 social workers for 10 days.
